About TEN87

TEN87 Lavish Raw Strands was created after the untimely tragedy of my beloved family member which was the catalyst of this business to get started. May 2, 2024 would be a day that will never be forgotten.

The name TEN87 came from the year 1987 and the number TEN came from the month. Lavish Raw Strands is not only the sub title of my beloved business and company it is also the the initials of Lashawn Roby who is the no longer here to bask in the experience and joy in starting this business. We were both born in 1987 and are 10 months apart, hence where TEN87 was born! 

As aforementioned the catalyst of TEN87 was a created from tragic events however the love of hair and hair extensions was not. While in college, I found my love for bundles and weave extensions. Bobbi Boss was my first purchase and I was hooked ever since! IYKYK that black and blue pack was everything!!!! Oh then there came a day when I was introduced to the realm of Raw Hair! I would never forget it, my now line sisters (s/o to AJ and Leah) had this hair in their head and I just had to know where it was from and how I could get my hands on it. This is where I was introduced to RAW HAIR and I have never looked back! Arjuni was the best hair ever to me. The blend, the luster when I tell you folks thought it was growing out of my scalp. Although they are no longer in business and it was a sad day I just knew I would never find anything comparable. Because I felt this way I said I would find my own raw hair extensions line and be what Arjuni and Bobbi Boss was for me for some other young girl and or woman!!!!!!
